After a quote is approved, work is largely dependent on parts availability and current volume. However, most gearboxes can be completed in 3-4 weeks once parts arrive.

We offer rebuilds on Rod Change, Remote, and Magic wand Classic Mini gearboxes. Covering the entire production period for the classic mini from 1959 - 2000

Customers can either drop off their gearbox, already decoupled from the engine, or mail the gearbox to me at the address below.

There is a $150 non-refundable deposit to have a gearbox inspected for repair and a quote. Once the gearbox has been torn down, a quote is provided for the work, that $200 credit is applied to the overall cost. After the quote is approved, the work will begin.
