THE STORY BEHIND GREEN HELL
The Green Hell, a famous nickname for Nürburgring, is a 150,000-person capacity motorsports complex located in the town of Nürburg, Germany. This track has been deemed one of the most dangerous and boycotted by F1 race drivers in the 1970s resulting in track modifications to make it safer. One of the original purposes of the Nordschleife was as a test track for auto manufacturers, and its demanding layout had been traditionally used as a proving ground.
