The HEL Performance range of high-quality braided hose has been manufactured to cover all applications and requirements across the motorsport and automotive industry. The multi-purpose design of our braided hose allows a wide range of use such as demanding fuel, coolant and high-pressure oil systems. Whether your application requires the use of standard braided rubber hose, or PTFE lined braided hose, we have a full range of specific fittings to suit. This braided hose is used in-house on development vehicles and our very own race cars, we only offer premium products that guarantee both durability and longevity.
Reinforced with a full internal Stainless Steel braid, our braided hose is incredibly lightweight and flexible whilst designed to handle strenuous operating pressures and high temperatures (70°C - 250°C). Manufactured to endure the toughest requirements, from off-road racing to replacing an OEM flexible hose on a standard road car. The high-quality Stainless Steel braid construction guarantees long-term resistance to corrosion and degradation from chemicals and highly alcoholic content fuels.
Please note, our hose is sold by the metre and will be supplied in an uncut length of up to 20 metres in total. If you require more than 20 metres, please feel free to contact us to discuss further.
Our range of braided hose covers all sizes from AN03 (AN3, -3) up to AN20 (-20), to allow for the precise tuning of fluid flow rates and pressures.
Braided Hose Types Explained
Braided Rubber Hose - Compatible with AN swivel braided rubber hose ends only. NOT compatible with PTFE hose ends. This type of hose is commonly used for oil, coolant, fuel (externally routed) and vacuum systems.
Braided PTFE Lined Hose - Compatible with AN swivel braided PTFE hose ends only. NOT compatible with braided rubber swivel hose ends. If fuel lines are located, or pass through the inside of the vehicle then it is critical to use PTFE lined hose as the internal PTFE lining creates a vapor barrier to eliminate dangerous fumes from permeating the cabin. The PTFE liner also prevents the fuel hose from hardening and will not allow the hose to fracture or crack.
